TMPC run 5

During the Q&A session, we had interesting questions and discussions. Some of these are questions from the floor while others are FAQ from previous sessions that the facilitator posted to the participants.

A few examples of interesting questions:

" How do you agree on who does what in the area of family financial matters?"

" I am not comfortable to share my feelings (deeper thoughts, anxieties, worries and fear) with my partner because I feel vulnerable after that. Will this make me look weak? Will she use this against me in the future?"

" He has a habit of working on email/ sms on his phone during our conversation. I absolutely hate it. What should I do? "

Support Couple Fellowship

One of the main difference between The Marriage Preparation Course (TMPC : for courting couples) and The Marriage Course (TMC : for married couples) is that TMPC builds in One to One session in a home setting.

In this course the courting couples will meet up with their support couple (SC) at the SC's home to run through at a more personal level the Prepare Evaluation results. We discuss both areas of strength as well as areas of growth.

As this is a very important component of the course, we meet up regularly for group coaching/learning to ensure we are better equipped to support the courting couples. We call this SC fellowship.

TMPC Run 5

TMPC run 5 have started. We started the intro session as planned 3 weeks ago.

A total of 8 couples signed up. Congrats to them for the joint decision and committment to start well.

We ran session 2 in one of the volunteer's house due to some unforeseen circumstances. A bit tight but ok... most importantly there was learning among the couples.

Family Life Conference - Nicky and Sila in Malaysia

We had a fantastic time of learning during the conference.

Seeing them live and hearing from them in person was just an incredible experience of inspiration and learning for all the 350 people who were there at the conference.

If there is one thing I hear many people say about them during the conference, it is this " they are exactly the same persons we see in the video!!" . For those of us who were running the workshops, we had many opportunities to interact with them on a personal level. We are humbled by their humility, challenged by their vision and passion for families and totally inspired by their dedication to their calling.
